Wedding Shower=Apron + PW Cookbook

One of our friends got married recently. So another friend and I decided to make her an apron to go along with the Pioneer Woman Cookbook.

Here's the cute pattern we used.
Completely reversible. : )

Also, I finally got down to Ikea this week to pick up one of these lovely little numbers I've been seeing in Blogland.
Why is this pale blue enamel Soooooooo irresistible??

Couldn't resist. :-D

You're so creative, ML. Love the apron fabric and the total reversibility of it!

I haven't been to an Ikea in years. The pitcher looks perfect with your little blue tweetheart.

Your friend will enjoy her gifts. The little bird looks perfect with the pitcher.
I never was one to wear an apron, but had an ex MIL to supply me with several. I gave them away years later - they would be vintage and in demand now. :D
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

I could use a reversible apron...I'm always splashing stuff on myself. The colors you chose are beautiful. I hope the bride-to-be loves it and the cookbook. there's lots of good eatin' in there! Ikea...ours is about 20 miles away which is a good thing or I'd be there all the time. The pitcher and the birdie are a good match!

The apron patterns popping up everywhere are so adorable and the cute fabic! This one you made is especially cute MaryLou.

Yes, I agree, I think it's the simple lines of the pitcher that give our eyes a rest and allow us to appreciate the simple things in life.

Happy August, may it be craft-filled! Yikes, Halloween and Christmas popping out at your local Michael's! Cute stuff coming!!!

What a lovely apron. We attended a shower recently, and the bride-to-be received several aprons. I think it's a wonderful gift. I have one of those pitchers too. Just love that color :)
